The Magic of Potter

Everyone had listed ones about Harry Potter, had watched someone of his movies or maybe read his books; J.K Rowling is the script writer for this wonderful story. People can´t believe how a simple secretary got it and when asked about this popularity, she has said, “I really wrote it for myself”.

When she was a little child, she hated going to school, but always loved to read. She knew when she will grow up, she will a famous writer.

After she finished her college, she started work as a simple secretary, a little time after, she had a London’s train trip, when she had a great idea about Harry Potter but She didn´t have a pen or paper with her, so she had to memorize it.

While she lived in Portugal she was teaching English, she married and had her first baby, and continued writing her fantastic story. It was filled with ten versions of the first chapter of the book.

When she returned to England, she was broken; there were times when she couldn´t even afford to eat, but she never gave up and finally she finished the first book “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer´s Stone. It was published in 1997.

Despite her fame and fortune, she’s been able to keep her private life; she met her husband and had her second child, currently they live in Scotland.
